Job Title: Furniture Mover.

Job Summary:
The Furniture Mover is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and transporting furniture and household goods. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer service to ensure items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload furniture, appliances, and boxes onto trucks.
Safely transport items to designated locations.
Wrap, pad, and secure items to prevent damage during transit.
Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed.
Follow proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and work areas.
Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
Complete required paperwork and inventory lists.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous moving or warehouse experience is a plus.
Ability to lift heavy items (typically 50–100 lbs or more).
Strong physical stamina and endurance.
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license (if driving is required).

Working Conditions:

Physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Work performed indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
May require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or overtime.
